IMB – Independent Monitoring Boards
Matrix are assisting the Communication Team of the Independent Monitoring Boards in developing their brand. This is evolution not revolution yet the development needs to communicate both visually and verbally in a 21st century manner.
Inside every prison, immigration removal centre and some short-term holding facilities at airports, there is an Independent Monitoring Board (IMB) – a group of ordinary members of the public doing an extraordinary job. One of the key areas of work for the IMB is in the recruitment of volunteers.
Our approach has been to consider the benefits to the volunteer and the people that they would work to protect. This is a new approach that delivers a far more positive approach to becoming a volunteer for the IMB - watch this space for future development of this project.
